Our Story
As Teenager I owned a Rottweiler called BUSTER, I attended obedience classes and later entered an exemption show (fun show). We came home with 3 rossettes that day and I was bitten by the bug. I truly enjoyed the show and decided I would like to show dogs on a more serious level. Although Buster was my constant companion he was not a show dog.
My mother had owned a West Highland White Terrier when I was very small and always mentioned the breed from time to time, saying what great characters they had. I went out and bought some books on the West Highland White Terrier and fell in love with this wonderful breed. The search was now on for my first show dog.
During 1991 we bought 3 Westies The first was a little bitch we called Nikki, Nikki was a sweet natured westie but unfortunately didn't make the show ring, however she introduced us to so many new friends and we learn't so much from her. The second was another bitch we called Deana (Simply the Best of Burneze), Deana went on to produce us a beautiful litter of puppies sired by CH Glenoostie Magician of Rotella, in this litter were Ch Burneze Just Annie lusion & Ir Ch Burneze Maxamillion. The third was Our special boy 'SOLO' Ch Lakamoni Knight Imperial at Burneze. We started showing SOLO in 1992 and qualified for Crufts at his first show, by the end of 1994 he had gained his title. (What a star).
We have now owned/bred 7 UK champions:-
